I am in love with this vacuum. Everything about it i love! The only thing is i have a one story house. It is kind of heavy and would not want to lug this thing up and down the stairs. Other than that i have noooo complaints!

Product provided average quality service for two years, Then it broke where foot release is attached to vacuum (due to lack of reinforced part, which is needed there because of wear resulting from use of the release)and at about the same time the off/on switch intermittently stopped working.

Well, I have to start out by saying that we are Hoover people. Our last wind tunnel lasted 16 years with my wife, who is a consummate clean freak. She likes to vacuum 1-2 X/day, so she can be tough on a machine! So we were pleased with its performance. It finally wore out.
Now, let's get on with this review. So far, we really like this machine. The suction is very good. It's on board tools are easily accessible. It's not any heavier than our old machine and overall it performs very well. It is a wide machine so you're able to vacuum a lot of space in a hurry. I do like the ability to vacuum hard wood floors by turning off the rotator wheel. Overall, I would buy this machine again...no buyer's remorse...and I would recommend it to a friend. I am very happy with Amazon and our buying experience. Good luck, happy cleaning.

Hoover U8311-900 WindTunnel 2 Bagged Upright Vacuum Cleaner My wife and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE how effective and efficient this vacuum cleaner performs. We love the EXTRA LARGE red and green indicator lights on top that tell you when the machine is drawing dirt (red) and when it is no longer finding dirt (green). We love the mini-vacuum located conveniently on the top for easy removal to clean the couch, kitchen chairs or stairs. We especially love the RETRACTABLE CORD!!!!! No more having to wind up the cord when finished - at the push of a button the cord retracts conveniently into the machine!!! Our floors have never been cleaner and now we find ourselves competing over the vacuum it is so much fun!!! Hands-down the best vacuum we've ever owned!!!
