This product does exactly what it was intended to do. It sucks up dust, dirt, and minor debris; and it does it well. The balance is perfect in your hand; the snout is fairly long for getting into tight places, it has powerful suction, the battery lasts long, the charger is first class and lets you know when it is done, the battery indicator lets you know how much longer you can use the vac before recharge, and it has a built-in brush. This is one powerful hand vac. It really does a good job of picking up about anything you find on the floor, and it lasts a satisfying long time on a single charge. I highly recommend it for this reason.

Just got this today. My house is mostly tile and this sweeper is perfect. Just like they say the sweeper stays at full power for 15 minutes. This sweeper does an excellent job at picking up crumbs in the corner and along edges. I did sweep one room with carpet and I was amazed at what it pulled from the carpet. Have been searching for the perfect cordless vac for years, something I can use for 4-5 minutes each night to do the worst parts of the kitchen, by the outside door, in front of the couch, etc to keep things manageable so I only have to drag out the big vac once a week. I love my Hoover Platinum Cordless Stick Vac. I have tried other cheaper cordless vac's, and like the idea of them but then never worked well. I gave them away, and now I am so happy with this one. Now I am waiting for the Handheld one to on sale and planning on getting that one also.

Convenient to use. Good on hard floors, fair on carpet. Battery life is too short to make a quick pass over a few rooms. Should come with second battery to switch with, instead of requiring buyer to spend $$$ to buy one. After all, this is an expensive machine. Easy to assemble/disassemble for cleaning.

PROS: Convenience of no cord to tangle with. Descent suction.

CONS: Small canister - needs to be emptied after every use, which can be a messy proposition. Canister is difficult to reattach. Could use a hose for corners, etc. Relatively new product with unknown last-ability. Pricey.

CONCLUSION: Good for area rugs, small apartments, and frequent clean-ups do to piliferous pets. Probably not good as primary vacuum for large areas.
