My parents bought this cleaner a few years ago, and I've borrowed it a few times to clean my carpets. The tanks are easy to put on & remove, and my only complaint is that it has very little suction. I'm not an electronics idiot, and I read the manual, cleaned the lint screens, etc. It just doesn't have the suction to pick up the water. The brushes are agitating and I can see foamy water, but very little of it gets picked up. A gallon of clean hot water and solution goes into the tank, but only about 1/2 - 3/4 of a cup of dirty water is picked up.
Once again I have very wet carpets with a fan blowing on them, hoping to cut the drying time. As I sit here regretting my decision to borrow their Hoover instead of renting a carpet cleaner I've decided to buy a cleaner myself, but will do a lot of research before deciding which one.

I've had my Agility for a couple years. I like the ease of use and the fact that my carpets dry much quicker than when I have them professionally done. I am having to do 2 or 3 cleans to really see a difference in the carpet cleanliness. I let my carpets go too long between professional cleans and I think the fact that my carpets have taken nearly 12 hours to dry after said professional cleans is an indication that the professional cleaning did not extract well enough.
I have tried the Hoover soap, felt it did attract dirt too quickly after cleaning. I've tried vinegar in place of carpet soap; I've tried just hot water. The best cleaning solution I have found so far is using Folex. You can buy it by the gallon at Lowe's. 2 cups of Folex per tank is doing a nice job.
I think any woman or man who self cleans their carpets deserves brownie points from their spouse/partner for their efforts. Kudos to us for the cost avoidance savings we are making avoiding professional services!

Before now, I have never spent $175 on something that after three uses completely stopped working. On my fourth use (today), the machine is demonstrating "reverse" suction. Air is being blown onto the floor and is being sucked from the dirty water container.
I tried everything to fix it, to no avail.
This was NOT money well spent.

bought this thing over a year ago and not many complaints. i love the spinner brushes, the attachments, and the extra solution button. the only real things i dont care too much for is the tanks are really small ( maybe a gallon) and it doesn't have an on board heater. so not really anything too bad. for big jobs i would recommend getting a rug doctor but this thing is fine for the occasional spot cleaning.

I like this machine. It works really well. The only thing I would have to complain about is the head doesn't seem heavy enough. I wish it would hold tighter to the carpet. It would take more of the moisture out of the carpet so it would dry quicker.
