I really am pleased with my purchase. The Hoover Steam Vac worked great. It really extracted dirt that I did not know even existed in my carpet. I have 3 boys and off white, short shag carpet. There were juice stains and other stains that I don't even know what it was. I could not get them out of the carpet by hand. This machine removed the stains and made the carpet look like new again. It took only 2 hours, if that, for my carpet to dry.

Very easy to assemble. Did an excellent job cleaning carpets. My daughter no longer is telling me I need to replace my 20 year old carpet. It is light beige and looks like new. This cleaner has done a better job than professional cleaners I have had come in. Both my son & daughter plan on purchasing this cleaner. I especially like being able to rinse the soap out of the carpet. It keeps the carpet clean much longer.
