I Love this Vacuum cleaner. I bought this after reading all the bad things about the newer Panasonics here on Amizon. We have 3 cats and this thing works great at removing everything on the floor, even much better than my old Panasonic bagless unit I still like and own. My only gripe is the Hoover is on the heavy side but I liked it so much I have bought a second one for downstairs.The Panasonic is well worth the money, 5 stars here!!.

My dear last Hoover lasted 18 years, thru two kids, and 14 years with one big black Chow-Chow girl. I really felt bad when finaly my Hoover "bit the dust." It was like an old friend. My 30+ year old Maytag died on me about 3 months previous. I have stayed with the rock solid companies - Maytag - Hoover - Maytag - Hoover. My new Hoover has great suction on the floor - but with the attachments there is something lacking. I saved the old attachments, tried them on the new, but it still wasn't ......

It works as a vacuum. But the bagless dust collector is a nightmare. It's hard to open, top or bottom, except sometimes it falls open. Once the plastic collector is open, the cylindrical filter can fall out. Once the filter is out, it's hard, if not impossible, to jam back in again. My head is still reeling from inhaling dirt and dust during my effort to clean the cleaner and reassemble the parts. Plus, the belt is too small for the cleaner (see Amazon.com comments on belt), which means the belt......

For the money I think it is a great buy. I really like the fact that when I use it I don't smell any dust or dirt smell. Can't believe how much dirt and dog hair it picked the first time I used it. The special brush for furniture does a really good job. I have owened more expensive vacuums, this one is by far the best.
The only thing that I find that I don't really care for is when I go to empty the canister, I have to reach up inside to get all of the hair and dirt to come out. It do......
