I purchased this vacuum less than 5 months ago. Within 1 week the dirt sensor stopped working. I contacted amazon and exchanged it. Now 5 months later, the motor has gone on the 2nd one. I took it in for service and the lady at the service center advised me to never buy another Hoover. Believe me, I won't!
